Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Operator and agreement
These terms govern lingowp.com and LingoWp online services, including hosted AI subscriptions and extra word packs. The operator is Mohamed Amine SAYAGH, an auto-entrepreneur in Morocco, at 1 rue Abou Bakker El Wahrani, esc. B, étg. 3, appt. 17, La Villette H M, Casablanca, Morocco. Email: contact@masayagh.com. Telephone: +212616137124. Registration details appear in the Legal Notice.
The service is available to businesses and consumers with capacity to enter the agreement. Anyone acting for an organization must be authorized to do so. The applicable terms, purchase details, billing interval, renewal conditions and total payable price form part of the order information to be accepted before payment.
2. Plugin licence and service access
The LingoWp WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). See the GPL version 2 and the licence supplied with the plugin. These service terms do not restrict rights granted by that licence. Online service subscriptions and site limits are separate from rights to use, modify and redistribute the plugin software.
Manual translation and BYOK translation do not consume LingoWp-hosted word allowances. BYOK requires a valid account and key with the selected provider, whose charges and terms apply separately. Maintain a compatible WordPress installation and suitable backups.
3. Accounts, content and acceptable use
Provide accurate contact and website information, protect your credentials, and connect only websites and provider accounts you are authorized to administer. Online-service site limits are those of your selected plan. Connected sites on the same licence account share its applicable word balances.
Submit only content you are entitled to process. The service is intended for website content shown to visitors, not private user-account records. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, confidential personal information or sensitive personal data as translation text. Publicly visible content may still contain personal data. If applicable law requires a processing agreement for your content, do not submit the relevant personal data until that agreement has been concluded.
You keep your rights in your content. As between you and LingoWp, we do not claim ownership of translations generated for you, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. You authorize the processing necessary to provide the requested translation, including the disclosed external processing. AI output may not be unique or independently protected by copyright.
Do not use the service unlawfully, bypass authentication or quotas, misuse another person’s credentials, or disrupt the service. These restrictions on online-service misuse do not remove rights granted by the plugin’s GPL licence.
4. Subscriptions, prices and payment
| Plan | Hosted-AI allowance per monthly period |
|---|---|
| Starter | 50,000 words |
| Pro | 200,000 words |
| Agency | 1,000,000 words |
Plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and annual subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled. Annual payment prepays a year of service with twelve monthly allowances; it does not make a full year’s words available immediately.
The order specifies the price, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes. Where legally permitted, prices marked as excluding tax are base prices and applicable taxes are added before payment. Where mandatory consumer rules require tax-inclusive displayed prices, those rules apply. No undisclosed mandatory charge is added after you commit to pay.
PayPal processes payments. Paid access follows confirmation of the relevant subscription/payment event. Future price or contractual changes require appropriate advance notice and any consent required by law; they do not retrospectively change an already paid period.
5. How words are counted
Only LingoWp-hosted translation requests deduct our words. A billable word is a whitespace-separated unit of source text after HTML is removed. This technical rule may produce different totals from a linguistic word count, especially for languages that do not separate words with spaces.
Usage is counted for each successfully translated target language. Translating 100 billable source words into three languages uses 300 words if all three succeed.
Identical strings in the same group within one request are deduplicated. Strings in different groups or later requests can be charged again. There is no backend translation cache that makes repeated requests free. Displaying translations already stored in WordPress does not create a new translation charge.
Items with no translatable content cost zero words. Failed items are not charged; partially successful batches charge successful items only. A whole-request processing failure is not charged. Temporary reservations for larger requests are reconciled or released and are not an additional charge.
The monthly allowance is used first, followed by purchased words. BYOK providers apply their own billing rules, which may differ.
6. Allowance resets and extra words
Monthly allowances reset each monthly allowance period under both monthly and annual subscriptions. Unused monthly words do not roll over. An annual renewal starts the next year of monthly allowances.
Purchased extra words do not expire. They remain on the account until used or refunded, but require paid LingoWp-hosted service access to be spent. Cancelling renewal preserves that access through the paid period. After paid access ends, remaining purchased words stay on the account and become usable again when paid access resumes.
Word packs are separate purchases and do not themselves renew automatically. Permanent account closure is distinct from subscription cancellation; contact us before requesting closure with unused purchased words.
7. Plan changes and cancellation
Available plan changes take effect on the next billing date confirmed for the change, without changing the current period’s allowance. For an annual subscription, that date is the annual renewal date, not the next monthly allowance reset.
To cancel renewal, open the LingoWp billing page, select “Cancel subscription” and confirm. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. For annual plans, the remaining monthly allowances continue through the paid year’s end. If the control is unavailable or fails, email contact@masayagh.com promptly.
Cancellation does not itself request a refund. The Refunds and Cancellation Policy applies to refund requests.
8. Existing translations, deletion and service quality
Ending a hosted subscription does not delete existing WordPress translations; they can continue displaying while the plugin remains active and correctly configured. Deactivation preserves local data but stops the plugin’s operation. Uninstallation through WordPress deletes the plugin’s local translations, tables, settings and related options. Back up WordPress before uninstalling if you need to keep them.
Deactivation, uninstallation, site disconnection and provider-key removal do not automatically cancel billing or delete the backend account. Our Privacy Policy explains data transfers, logging and retention.
AI translations may contain errors or omit context. Review important text before publication, particularly legal, medical, financial or safety-related content. We do not promise perfect accuracy, particular search rankings or a business result.
We must provide the contracted service with the care required by law. Maintenance, network failures and provider outages may affect availability. These limitations do not remove statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming services. Support is available at contact@masayagh.com; no separate uptime or response-time guarantee is included unless expressly agreed.
9. Suspension, responsibility and disputes
We may restrict service where reasonably necessary to address misuse, compromised credentials, non-payment or legal requirements. Where appropriate and permitted, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Cancelling renewal alone does not justify removing paid access early. Any refund or other remedy required by law remains available.
Each party remains responsible under applicable law for its obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer protections. These terms do not impose a general financial cap on liability.
For complaints, contact contact@masayagh.com. Moroccan law governs these terms without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country of habitual residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law. No exclusive foreign forum is imposed on consumers contrary to their legal rights.
Material changes will be communicated before they apply where required and will not remove accrued rights. The English and French versions are intended to express the same terms; mandatory language and interpretation rules prevail.
